Overview

The Transport Committee at Achariya College of Engineering and Technology is a dedicated body responsible for overseeing all transportation-related operations within the institution. Committed to the safety, reliability, and sustainability of campus mobility, the committee serves students, faculty, and staff by ensuring seamless and well-organized transport services throughout the academic year.

Operational Excellence

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Management of Services

Plans, organizes, and oversees daily transportation for students, faculty, and staff commuting to and from the college campus.

2. Scheduling & Coordination

Efficient and optimized bus schedules are prepared and regularly updated to minimize delays and ensure punctual service.

3. Parking Management

Supervises on-campus parking facilities, enforcement of regulations, and maintenance of parking infrastructure.

4. Safety & Security

Comprehensive safety protocols including periodic vehicle maintenance, driver training, and emergency response procedures.

5. Financial Management

Systematic budgeting for vehicle procurement, fuel, maintenance, salaries, and infrastructure upgrades.

6. Grievance Redressal

A dedicated mechanism to promptly address and resolve transportation-related complaints and concerns.

7. Event Logistics

Arrangements for industrial visits, field trips, sports meets, and other off-campus academic activities.

8. Sustainability

Promoting eco-friendly transportation practices aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of college transport operations.

Transport Guidelines

Student Code of Conduct

"All students using college transport must carry their bus pass at all times and adhere to the disciplinary rules. Ragging in any form inside college buses is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate cancellation of transport facilities and disciplinary action."

Mandatory ID

Bus pass is mandatory for every trip. No student will be allowed without a valid pass.

Punctuality

Students are advised to be at their respective stops at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time.

Safety First

Standing on the footboard or leaning out of windows is strictly prohibited.
